Trying to lead 21st Century learning with 20th Century content?

Introduce students to emerging academic and career pathways

We create content from global innovations that are shifting the needle towards global opportunity, equity, and sustainability. Why? We believe all students deserve access to the new modes of thinking that are changing the definition of achievement for the 21st century--and beyond.

We’re experts at distilling “big content” into accessible concepts such as wellbeing, equity, democracy and systems. These transdisciplinary ideas infuse curriculum with rigor and relevance, creating the learning opportunities too often denied to students of color and those in poverty.

Examples:

  • Applying the concepts of democracy and equity connects STEM knowledge to ethical problem-solving. Middle school students investigate the health impacts of lead and the populations most impacted. They communicate their research findings to community leaders while gaining an understanding of career pathways in science, research and public policy.
  • Applying wellbeing and systems to economics connects students with the emerging convergence of science, business, and community vitality.  Elementary students explore the natural and human-made resources that support the local economy. Older students compare the Gross Domestic Product with new indicators that better measure social wellbeing, then learn about the global leaders shaping these future-focused policies.
